INTRODUCTION & CUSTOMER ASSURANCE

At Truth Power Batteries, we are committed to delivering advanced, safe, and reliable energy storage solutions based on Lithium Iron Phosphate (LiFePO₄) technology. Every battery manufactured by us undergoes strict quality inspection and performance testing before dispatch.
This document constitutes a legally binding warranty agreement between Truth Power Batteries and the original purchaser. It defines warranty coverage, exclusions, operating limits, safety instructions, user responsibilities, and environmental obligations for LiFePO₄ batteries.
LiFePO₄ batteries offer superior cycle life, thermal stability, and safety; however, correct installation, compatible electronics, and proper usage are mandatory to ensure performance and warranty validity.

1. SCOPE OF WARRANTY
1.1 This warranty applies exclusively to new Lithium Iron Phosphate (LiFePO₄) battery packs manufactured and sold by Truth Power Batteries for use in:
Electric Bikes (E-Bikes)
Electric Scooters (where applicable)
Home UPS / Inverter systems
Solar energy storage systems
DC and low-voltage energy storage applications approved by the Company

1.2 This warranty covers manufacturing defects only, arising from defective materials, workmanship, or assembly affecting normal battery operation.
1.3 This warranty does not cover:
Normal capacity fade over time
Performance reduction due to aging or cycling
Damage due to misuse, abuse, or incorrect system integration

2. WARRANTY PERIOD STRUCTURE
2.1 The warranty period consists of:
Free Replacement Period (FOC)
Pro-Rata Warranty Period, if applicable
2.2 The total warranty duration is clearly mentioned on:

Battery label
Warranty card
Purchase invoice
2.3 The warranty period commences strictly from the date of sale to the original purchaser, as per the original invoice.
2.4 In case of free replacement, the warranty shall continue from the original date of purchase and shall not restart.
2.5 Batteries replaced under pro-rata settlement shall not carry any fresh warranty, unless specifically stated in writing by Truth Power Batteries.

3. ELIGIBILITY & WARRANTY VALIDITY
Warranty shall remain valid only if all the following conditions are fulfilled:
Battery purchased from an authorized Truth Power Batteries dealer
Original purchase invoice produced at the time of claim
Battery serial number, QR code, or identification label is intact and readable
Battery is installed using compatible charger, controller, inverter, or vehicle system
Battery is used only for the approved application
Battery is operated within specified voltage, current, and temperature limits
Battery Management System (BMS) is not bypassed or tampered with
Failure to comply with any of the above conditions shall render the warranty null and void.

4. WARRANTY CLAIM PROCESS
4.1 In the event of performance issues, the battery must be submitted to an authorized dealer or service center.
4.2 The customer must submit:
Original invoice
Warranty card (if issued)
Battery pack in complete and untampered condition
4.3 The battery shall undergo technical evaluation, including:
BMS data analysis
Voltage, capacity, and internal resistance testing
4.4 Evaluation and adjudication may take 3–7 working days, depending on failure nature.
4.5 The final decision regarding repair, replacement, pro-rata settlement, or rejection rests solely with Truth Power Batteries and shall be binding.

5. WARRANTY COVERAGE (WHAT IS COVERED)
Warranty covers failures arising solely due to:
Manufacturing defects in LiFePO₄ cells
Defective Battery Management System (BMS) components
Internal connection or welding defects
Premature capacity loss beyond specified tolerance under normal usage
Abnormal self-discharge caused by manufacturing fault

6. WARRANTY EXCLUSIONS (WHAT IS NOT COVERED)
Warranty shall not apply if failure occurs due to any of the following:
6.1 Improper Usage & Installation
Reverse polarity connection
Incorrect wiring or connector mismatch
Installation in water-logged, sealed, or overheated enclosures
Use in applications not approved by the Company
6.2 Charging & Electrical Abuse
Use of non-compatible or unapproved chargers
Over-voltage, under-voltage, or current beyond specifications
Bypassing, modifying, or disabling the BMS
Faulty inverter, motor controller, or solar charge controller
6.3 Thermal & Environmental Abuse
Operation beyond specified temperature limits
Exposure to fire, excessive heat, or direct flame
Water ingress due to immersion or high-pressure washing
6.4 Physical & External Damage
Dropping, crushing, puncturing, or deformation
Damage due to vibration, accident, or collision
Burn marks, melted casing, or impact damage
6.5 Unauthorized Actions
Opening battery pack
Repair or modification by unauthorized personnel
Removal or alteration of serial number or labels
Transfer of battery ownership to another user

7. PRO-RATA WARRANTY SETTLEMENT
7.1 After the Free Replacement Period, warranty claims shall be settled on a pro-rata basis.
7.2 Pro-rata calculation is based on:
Total warranty period
Time elapsed from date of purchase
Remaining warranty duration
7.3 The customer shall bear:
Pro-rata cost difference
Transportation and handling charges
Applicable GST or statutory taxes

8. PERFORMANCE & CAPACITY DISCLAIMER
8.1 Lithium Iron Phosphate batteries experience gradual capacity reduction with usage and cycle count.
8.2 Capacity fade depends on:
Depth of discharge (DoD)
Charging and discharging current
Operating temperature
Frequency of cycles
8.3 Such capacity reduction is normal behavior and does not constitute a manufacturing defect.

9. SOLAR & HOME UPS / INVERTER APPLICATION CONDITIONS
Battery must be used with LiFePO₄-compatible inverter or charge controller
Charging voltage and current limits must match battery specifications
Low-voltage and high-voltage protections must remain active
Parallel or series connection (if allowed) must follow company guidelines
Non-compliance shall void warranty.

10. E-BIKE / ELECTRIC VEHICLE APPLICATION CONDITIONS
Battery must be used with approved motor controller
Peak and continuous current must remain within rated limits
Regenerative braking (if used) must be BMS-compatible
Battery must be firmly mounted to avoid vibration damage

11. OWNERSHIP OF REPLACED BATTERY
Any battery replaced under warranty shall become the exclusive property of Truth Power Batteries.
No scrap value or rebate shall be payable.

12. TAXES & STATUTORY CHARGES
All applicable GST, duties, or statutory levies on repair or replacement shall be borne by the customer unless otherwise stated.

13. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
Truth Power Batteries shall not be liable for:
Loss of income or business
Vehicle or equipment damage
Downtime or inconvenience
Any indirect, incidental, or consequential losses

14. ENVIRONMENTAL & LEGAL COMPLIANCE
Lithium batteries must not be disposed of with household or general waste.
Used batteries must be returned only to:
Authorized dealers
Manufacturers
Approved recycling or collection centers
Improper disposal may attract penalties under applicable environmental laws.

15. CUSTOMER CONSENT & JURISDICTION
By purchasing and using this battery, the customer acknowledges having read, understood, and accepted all terms herein.
All disputes shall be subject to exclusive jurisdiction of courts at Uttar Pradesh, India.
