INTRODUCTION & CUSTOMER ASSURANCE

At Truth Power Batteries, we design and manufacture reliable, safe, and performance-oriented battery charging solutions for electric mobility and energy storage applications. Every charger supplied by us undergoes rigorous electrical, functional, and safety testing prior to dispatch.

This document constitutes a legally binding warranty agreement between Truth Power Batteries and the original purchaser of the charger. It outlines warranty coverage, exclusions, operating conditions, user responsibilities, safety precautions, and limitations applicable to chargers used with lithium-ion and lead-acid batteries.
Proper installation, correct battery compatibility, and adherence to operating guidelines are mandatory to ensure safe operation and warranty validity.

1. SCOPE OF WARRANTY
1.1 This warranty applies exclusively to new chargers manufactured and sold by Truth Power Batteries, including:
E-Bike Chargers
E-Rickshaw Chargers
Lithium-Ion Battery Chargers
Lead-Acid Battery Chargers
Chargers for Home UPS, Inverters, and Solar systems (where applicable)

1.2 The warranty covers manufacturing defects only, arising from faulty components, improper assembly, or workmanship defects affecting normal charger operation.
1.3 This warranty does not cover:
Normal wear and tear
Performance degradation due to aging
Cosmetic damage not affecting functionality

2. WARRANTY PERIOD STRUCTURE
2.1 The warranty period is clearly mentioned on:
Charger label
Warranty card
Purchase invoice
2.2 Warranty period shall commence from the date of sale to the original purchaser as mentioned on the invoice.
2.3 Replacement of charger or internal components does not reset or extend the original warranty period.
2.4 Chargers replaced under warranty shall continue with the remaining warranty duration only.

3. ELIGIBILITY & WARRANTY VALIDITY
Warranty shall be valid only if all the following conditions are satisfied:
Charger purchased from an authorized Truth Power Batteries dealer
Original purchase invoice is produced at the time of claim
Charger serial number / QR code / label is intact and readable
Charger is used only with compatible battery chemistry and voltage
Input power supply is within specified voltage and frequency limits
Charger is operated in recommended environmental conditions
Charger casing is unopened and unmodified
Failure to meet any of the above conditions shall render the warranty null and void.

4. WARRANTY CLAIM PROCESS
4.1 In case of malfunction, the charger must be submitted to an authorized dealer or service center.
4.2 Customer must provide:
Original invoice
Warranty card (if issued)
Charger unit in complete, untampered condition
4.3 The charger shall undergo technical inspection, which may include:
Input/output voltage testing
Load testing
Component-level inspection
4.4 Claim adjudication may take 2–5 working days, depending on fault diagnosis.
4.5 The decision of Truth Power Batteries regarding repair, replacement, or rejection shall be final and binding.
5. WARRANTY COVERAGE (WHAT IS COVERED)
Warranty covers failures arising solely due to:
Defective electronic components
PCB manufacturing defects
SMPS / transformer failure due to material defect
Faulty internal wiring or solder joints
Malfunctioning indicator LEDs or display (if applicable) due to manufacturing defect

6. WARRANTY EXCLUSIONS (WHAT IS NOT COVERED)
Warranty shall not apply if charger failure occurs due to any of the following:
6.1 Improper Usage & Application
Use of charger with incorrect battery voltage or chemistry
Charging batteries not approved by the Company
Using lithium charger on lead-acid battery or vice versa
Overloading beyond rated current
6.2 Electrical & Power Supply Issues
Input voltage fluctuations beyond specified limits
Power surges, spikes, lightning, or unstable grid supply
Improper earthing or grounding
Use with generators or inverters without proper regulation
6.3 Environmental & Thermal Damage
Exposure to rain, water ingress, or moisture
Operation in extremely dusty, humid, or corrosive environments
Overheating due to blocked ventilation or enclosure
Use beyond specified temperature range
6.4 Physical & External Damage
Dropping, crushing, impact, or mishandling
Broken connectors, cables, plugs, or casing
Burn marks, melted housing, or short-circuit damage
Damage caused by rodents or insects
6.5 Unauthorized Actions
Opening, repairing, or modifying charger by unauthorized personnel
Tampering with internal circuitry, firmware, or settings
Removal or alteration of serial number or labels
Use of non-original cables or connectors

7. COMPATIBILITY & SAFETY CONDITIONS
7.1 Chargers must be used only with batteries having matching voltage, current, and charging profile.
7.2 For lithium-ion chargers:
Battery must have a functional Battery Management System (BMS)
Charger must not be connected to batteries with bypassed or faulty BMS

7.3 For lead-acid chargers:
Battery electrolyte levels must be maintained
Charger must not be used on damaged or dry batteries
Improper compatibility voids warranty immediately.

8. PERFORMANCE DISCLAIMER
8.1 Charging time may vary depending on:
Battery capacity and condition
State of charge (SOC)
Ambient temperature
Input power stability
8.2 Such variations are normal and do not constitute charger defects.

9. COMMERCIAL & HIGH-USAGE APPLICATIONS
9.1 Chargers used in commercial operations, fleet charging, or continuous duty cycles may experience higher wear.
9.2 Warranty for such applications shall be limited, as specified on the product label or invoice.

10. OWNERSHIP OF REPLACED CHARGER
Any charger replaced under warranty shall become the exclusive property of Truth Power Batteries.
No scrap value or rebate shall be payable.

11. TAXES & STATUTORY CHARGES
Any applicable GST or statutory taxes on repair or replacement shall be borne by the customer unless otherwise specified.

12. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
Truth Power Batteries shall not be liable for:
Battery damage due to charger misuse
Loss of business or income
Vehicle downtime or inconvenience
Any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages

13. CUSTOMER RESPONSIBILITY & SAFETY NOTICE
Chargers are electrical devices and must be handled carefully.
Users must ensure:
Proper ventilation during operation
Dry and clean environment
Disconnection from power supply when not in use
Improper handling may result in electrical hazards.

14. CUSTOMER CONSENT & JURISDICTION
By purchasing and using this charger, the customer confirms acceptance of all terms and conditions stated herein.

All disputes shall be subject to exclusive jurisdiction of courts at Uttar Pradesh, India.
